Harry Yanowitz formally joined Clearspring in late 2025 as an Operating Partner and works closely with Clearspring portfolio company management teams on operational improvement, growth initiatives, and corporate and financial strategy. Harry brings extensive experience as both a senior operating executive and advisor to private equity-backed businesses. He has supported Clearspring since 2010 through several portfolio company engagements.
Experience
Harry previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Pep Boys, a publicly traded automotive service and retail company, and as President, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Financial Officer of Chapters Inc., a market leading Canadian book retailer. After working as a consultant at Bain & Company, he supported Larry in the creation and growth of Chapters and helped transform book retailing in Canada. Harry also served as Director and Interim Chief Operating Officer and Interim Chief Financial Officer of Telecon, a leading Canadian provider of telecommunications network infrastructure services. In addition, he spent more than 15 years advising mid-market private equity-backed companies as Managing Director at Crosby Brown Advisors. He holds a degree in Finance from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
